When we get a call about a "witch child," we immediately set out to find them. It can take some time because the child is scared of us. They are afraid of ALL adults because adults have harmed them. Therefore, they try to survive by running away.
During the rescue, we try to calm the child using various psychological techniques. David and the rescue team are locals who speak the children's language, and we offer them some biscuits, soda, and snacks.
Then we report it to the police. If we just take the child with us, we could be accused of kidnapping. We need police approval and a signature from a family member. These can be long, inefficient processes, but we do what we can to ensure the child's safety in the meantime.
If the child is near death, we take them to the hospital.
However, because everyone believes in witches, we face many challenges, and we often have to pay a lot to save the child's life.
That's how the money is spend.
